Na Monte bude chybět systém S1 technology MD, tzn. že nebude sledování časů ani bezpečnosti na RZ.

The WRC Timing and Safety Tracking equipment will not be available at Monte Carlo, after Stage One Technology failed to reach agreement with the administrators of Vladimir Antonov's failed Convers Sports Initiatives, dealing on behalf of North One Sport.

North One Sport's contract as WRC global promoter was cancelled by the FIA on Sunday night. Stage One Technology, which says it is owed " a significant amount of money" reportedly approaching £1m, wanted to take the equipment and their team to provide the same familiar service to the event and the sport.

However, Simon de Banke, Stage 1 Technology MD, confirmed to iRally a short time ago that his offers to buy the kit had been rejected by the administrators, and S1T would now be returning the equipment to them.

It means the WRC Timing and Safety Tracking, in use by WRC Events for the last 10 years, will not be at Monte Carlo next week, nor will anyone from the S1T team.

Mr. de Banke says he and his team are extremely disappointed by developments.
